Update on NYMEX and COMEX Options Launch on CME Globex®
Beginning on Sunday evening, June 24, 2007 (for trade date June 25, 2007), the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. will list for trading, its NYMEX Division Crude Oil (LO) and Natural Gas (ON) options and COMEX Division Gold (OG) and Silver (SO) options on the CME Globex® platform, alongside open-outcry trading on the NYMEX and COMEX Division trading floors. In addition Members should be aware of the following important dates leading up to the launch: May 21 The NYMEX and COMEX Options contracts will be available for customer certification in the CME Globex certification environment.     May 24 CME EOS Trader for NYMEX Options products available for customer certification.  Please note that the CME EOS Trader front end will be available free of charge to NYMEX and COMEX Options Floor Traders.  More information on CME EOS Trader, including registration information, can be found by emailing globexaccountmanagement@cme.com or calling the CME Globex Account Management division at 312.634.8700.     June 16 Mock Trading session #1     June 23 Mock Trading session #2     June 24 Launch Date of NYMEX and COMEX Options on CME Globex® In addition all Members are reminded that they must connect to the CME Globex platform via a certified Options ISV in order to trade.
