Listing Additional Months in NYMEX Light Sweet Crude Oil and New York Harbor Heating Oil
Effective on Sunday evening, April 15, 2007 (for trade date Monday, April 16), the Exchange will list additional months in Crude Oil futures and options to add the June and December contract months for three additional years, so that crude oil will be listed out nine years forward through December 2015. Thereafter, additional months would be added on an annual basis after the December contract expires, so that an additional June and December contract would be added nine years forward, and the consecutive months in the sixth calendar year would be filled in. This extension of listed months will be available on all tradable venues. Further, the Exchange will list 36 consecutive months in the New York Harbor Heating Oil Futures Contract. Thereafter, the Exchange will maintain 36 contract months listed on a rolling basis.
