2006 Industry-Wide BCP/DR Test
The New York Mercantile Exchange will again be taking part in the annual industry-wide disaster recovery test event planned for October 14, 2006. Nymex will be participating with several other exchanges for this event. Clearing member firms are requested to participate in this event.

Preliminary meetings will be held to promote this test and attendance at these meetings is highly encouraged. During the meetings the test organizers will discuss the scope of the disaster recovery test, what resources will be involved, and where the firms can get or request additional information regarding the test.

Registration for this test is required. A centralized registration process has been created for this test and is available at the FIA website at located at http://www.futuresindustry.org/disaster-2450.asp. Information on the participating exchanges, test protocol, and test plans will also be available at this centralized location. So please register and check back frequently for updates.

Some important dates:
There will two additional test symposium dates; one in New York and on in Chicago. They are tentatively scheduled for the beginning of September. These dates will be posted on the FIA disaster recovery website when available.

NYMEX Ping Testing

This will be the third annual industry-wide disaster recovery test and we are looking forward to making this test as successful as the past two tests have been. Thank you for participating.
