Exchange Announces Two Additional Years for All Monthly Peak and Off-Peak Electricity Futures Contracts
The Exchange announced today that two additional years will be listed for all monthly peak and off-Peak electricity futures contracts. Currently four years, the current year and the next three years, are listed for trading on the monthly peak and off-peak electricity futures contracts. The months for calendar years 2010-11 will be listed on Sunday evening, July 9 for NYMEX ClearPort® Trade Date July 10. The procedure for adding an additional year when the current year expires will remain the same. For example, following expiration of the December 2006 contract, the months for calendar year 2012 will be listed.
