Addition of Alberta Province in Canada and 14 Other Jurisdictions to the Approved List for Direct Electronic Trading Access to Exchange Products
The Exchange is pleased to announce the addition of the Alberta Province in Canada and 14 other jurisdictions to the list of approved jurisdictions for direct electronic trading access to Exchange products. The list of additional jurisdictions beyond the Alberta province includes the following: British Virgin Islands China Czech Republic Denmark Dubai International Financial Centre Finland Guernsey Korea Luxembourg Malaysia Monaco New Zealand Poland Russia A complete list of jurisdictions for direct access to the electronic trading of Exchange products can be found on the NYMEX web site at www.nymex.com/juris_limit.aspx. The list of approved jurisdictions includes jurisdictions providing either affirmative approval or confirmation that such approval is not required. The scope of activity applies to electronic trading of any Exchange product on Exchange electronic venues. This activity includes not only NYMEX products listed on the CME Globex® system, but also COMEX products on NYMEX ACCESS® until they are transitioned to Globex. NYMEX is working actively to expand this list; this effort is subject to the specific processes of the approximately 50 additional jurisdictions that have been contacted. Additionally, each jurisdiction may contain some limitations regarding use of the electronic trading platforms. You should consult the web site for up-to-date information on jurisdictions which can be viewed on the NYMEX web site located at www.nymex.com/juris_limit.aspx.
