NYMEX Holdings, Inc., to Distribute Special Dividend to Shareholders
As you are aware, the Board of Directors voted to declare and distribute a regular dividend in the amount of $3.6 million to NYMEX Holdings, Inc. Stockholders of record as of December 30, 2005 to be distributed the week of January 16, 2006. (Notice 05-580 dated December 19, 2005). Each Stockholder will receive $4,411.75 per share. Subsequently, the Board of Directors voted to declare and distribute a special dividend in the amount of $30 million to NYMEX Holdings, Inc. Stockholders of record as of January 21, 2006 (Notice 06-19 dated January 11, 2006). Each Stockholder will receive $36,764.71 per share. In an effort to increase efficiency, please note that both the regular and special dividends will be distributed together the week of January 23, 2006.
