Required Registration for COMEX Side-by-Side
With the migration of the electronic trading of COMEX Metals products to CME Globex®, electronic trades will now be processed in the NYMEX ClearPort® Trade Management System (TMS) on Sunday, December 3, 2006 for trade date Monday, December 4, 2006.

If you have not yet registered, you must complete the appropriate registration forms. If you do not complete the appropriate registration forms, your clerks will not be able to check your trades or perform any allocations. There are no exceptions to this process.


All Brokers and Clerks are encouraged to register before Friday, December 1, 2006, to avoid any delay in being able to check trades on launch day.

NYMEX Required Registration for COMEX Division Side-by-Side includes:
  1. To gain access to the NYMEX Wireless Network, brokers must register each tablet by submitting the Wireless Handheld Registration Form located at http://www.nymex.com/wrless_reg.aspx to the COMEX Wireless Valet Support Center on the 7th Floor.

  2. In order for brokers to see their electronic trades on their TMS screen under their badge, Clearing Members must register brokers CME Globex® login ID with NYMEX by submitting an Electronic Re-allocations and Positions Registration Form at http://www.nymex.com/elec_reallpos.aspx to the COMEX Wireless Valet Support Center on the 7th Floor.

  3. To gain access to NYMEX ClearPort® TMS, brokers must register for access and to permission their clerks to view their trades by submitting the NYMEX ClearPort® TMS Broker Registration Forms located at the COMEX Trade Processing Room on the 7th Floor.

  4. To gain access to NYMEX ClearPort® TMS, clerks must submit a NYMEX ClearPort® TMS Clerk Registration Form provided to clerks after mandatory training is completed. For more information please contact Training & Development.
