Proposed New Copper Warehouse, Amending to COMEX Copper Supplement No. 2, "Licensed Warehouses for Copper" and COMEX Copper Supplement No. 3, "Licensed Weighmasters for Copper"
The Exchange proposes to amend COMEX Copper Supplement No. 2, "Licensed Warehouses for Copper" which adds the C. Steinweg (Baltimore) Inc. for its Shed #7 facility at 1201 Wallace St., Baltimore, Maryland be approved as an Exchange Licensed Warehouse for the storage of copper deliverable against the COMEX Division Grade 1 Copper Futures Contract and COMEX Copper Supplement No. 3, "Licensed Weighmasters for Copper" which adds C. Steinweg (Baltimore) Inc. as a Licensed Weighmaster for Copper, pending satisfaction of the condition precedent described below.

Condition Precedent

Completion of the Delivery Point Agreement is the Condition Precedent.

SPECIAL MATTER

The proposed amendments affect a "Special Matter" under the terms of the COMEX By-Laws. Accordingly, COMEX Division Members have ten (10) days to submit a petition signed by owners of at least 155 COMEX Division Memberships requesting a vote of the COMEX Division Members to disapprove the amendments, pursuant to the procedures set forth under COMEX By-Law 205(D). If a petition is not received, or if the amendment is not disapproved, the proposed amendments will be submitted to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). After CFTC approval and satisfaction of the condition precedent, the Exchange membership will be notified of the effective date of the amendments.
