In order to participate in the NYMEX miNY™ Designee Program for Heating Oil and Unleaded Gasoline the following criteria must be met:
- Participation is limited to NYMEX Membership.
- NYMEX miNY™ Designees must trade through their corresponding Member's account.
- A non-refundable miNY Designee fee of $24,000 per year which the member must pay in advance each year.
- The NYMEX miNY™ Designee must maintain a minimum daily trading volume requirement of 100 sides based on a monthly average after an initial grace period of 60 days. After the initial grace period, if the miNY Designee fails to maintain the average daily volume for two consecutive months, the NYMEX Member's participation in the miNY Designee program will be terminated and the yearly fee forfeited.
- The NYMEX miNY™ Designee must be ready to start trading by January 17, 2006.
Applications to participate in the NYMEX miNY™ Heating Oil or Unleaded Gas Designee Program are available in the Membership Department located on the 4th floor.
