Amendment of NYMEX and COMEX Rules to Provide for Payment for Metals Delivery through the Clearinghouse
The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX) today gave supplemental notice to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) of proposed changes to the following rules of the exchange:

  • COMEX rule 111.45 (Delivery of Copper)
  • COMEX rule 112.16 (Delivery of Silver)
  • COMEX rule 113.12 (Delivery of Gold)
  • COMEX rule 123.10 (Delivery of Aluminum)
  • NYMEX rule 90.08 (Delivery of Platinum)
  • NYMEX rule 100.08 (Delivery of Palladium
These rule amendments permit the payment for metals delivery for copper, silver, gold, platinum and palladium to be made through the NYMEX Clearinghouse.

These amendments are in effect.
