Applications for Membership on NYMEX Europe Limited
This is to advise that NYMEX Europe Limited is now accepting applications for membership. Due to the fact that NEL is a separate exchange subject to the regulatory authority of the United Kingdom and the FSA, all individuals and entities — regardless of whether you are a NYMEX Inc. member, you will still have to go through the application process and complete the appropriate forms. A list of the various forms and a description of which ones are applicable to prospective NEL members may be obtained via www.nymexeurope.com or in hard-copy from the Membership Department. The following is a brief description of the forms and how they may apply to you: REQUEST FOR EXPEDITED REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF APLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP OF AND/OR FLOOR TRADING PRIVILEGES ON NYMEX EUROPE LIMITED Only individuals who are currently members of NYMEX, Inc. (New York and/or Dublin branch) who wish to apply for membership and floor trading privileges in their own individual names may use this form. This form should not be used by individuals whose sole intent is to execute transactions on the floor of NEL for the benefit of a member of NEL and/or for the benefit of the customers of a member of NEL. NOTE: Individuals submitting this form will, be required to submit proof that they are properly authorized by the FSA or are exempt from such registration. REQUEST FOR EXPEDITED REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF APPLICATION TO OBTAIN FLOOR TRADING PRIVILEGES ON NYMEX EUROPE LIMITED Only individuals who are currently members of NYMEX, Inc. (New York and/or Dublin branch) whose sole intent it is to obtain floor trading privileges to execute transactions on the floor of NEL for the benefit of a member of NEL and/or for the benefit of the customers of a member of NEL may use this form. NOTE: This form must be submitted jointly by the "candidate" for floor trading privileges and the member whose floor trading privileges will be utilised. Individuals submitting this form will, be required to submit proof that they are properly authorized by the FSA or are exempt from such registration. APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP OF NYMEX EUROPE LIMITED All individuals that are not currently members of NYMEX, Inc. (New York or Dublin branch), will be required to complete and submit this form. All entities (i.e., bodies corporate, partnerships, unincorporated associations, etc.), whether or not currently a member firm of NYMEX, Inc. will be required to complete and submit this form. APPLICATION TO OBTAIN FLOOR TRADING PRIVILEGES ON NYMEX EUROPE LIMITED All individuals who are not currently members of NYMEX, Inc. (New York and/or Dublin branch) whose sole intent it is to obtain floor trading privileges to execute transactions on the floor of NEL for the benefit of a member of NEL and/or for the benefit of the customers of a member of NEL and do not which to apply for membership in their own individual name may use this form. NOTE: This form must be submitted jointly by the "candidate" for floor trading privileges and the member whose floor trading privileges will be utilised. Individuals submitting this form will, be required to submit proof that they are properly authorized by the FSA or are exempt from such registration. REQUEST FOR REGISTRATION OF A CLERK ON NYMEX EUROPE LIMITED All members who wish to have their employees authorised to access the trading floor to act in an administrative capacity must submit this form for each such employee. After you have determined which of these forms you will be required to submit, and completed them as required please send them to our offices. Please make sure that you send the originals (not photocopies) suitably signed and with all necessary supplementary information attached.
