| Extension of Current Incentive Programs for NYMEX Brent Trading |
|---|
| The Exchange has determined to extend, through April 30, 2005, the incentive programs currently in place for NYMEX Brent Trading.
The first program provides for a stipend of up to $1,000 per week to NYMEX Brent traders and their clerks to help defray/reimburse demonstrated transportation and living expenses. This stipend is based upon a demonstrated commitment to active involvement in the Brent contract as reflected by a regular presence and trading activity on the Dublin trading floor in the Brent contract. Second, the Exchange will continue its fee waiver or "holiday" of all Exchange transaction and clearing fees in the Brent futures contract, including the surcharge charged on NYMEX ACCESS® in the Brent contract as well as the monthly access fee of $100 for non-members who trade directly on NYMEX ACCESS®. Finally, the Exchange will continue to provide payment of $0.50 per lot per side for transactions in NYMEX Brent (other than trades for a floor member's own account) including exchange of futures for physicals (EFP), and exchange of futures for swaps (EFS). To participate in this particular program, you must register via the following link: https://www.services.nymex.com/IncentiveReg/ The Exchange is now accepting applications for Brent floor trading privileges from any individual who is a member in good standing on a recognized board of trade and other individuals who otherwise meet the eligibility requirements for New York Mercantile Exchange membership. Applications are available via NYMEX.com or from the Exchange's Membership Department. |
