Expansion of Trading Months for Crude Oil Calendar Spread Options
Please be advised that beginning Wednesday, March 2, 2005 the Exchange will list an additional expiration month on its Crude Oil Calendar Spread Option Contracts. Beginning that day, there will be an option on the August 2005/October 2005 inter-month spread. Currently, the Exchange lists options on 12 month spreads for February, March, June, September, and all December/December spreads. In addition, the Exchange currently lists Calendar Spread Options on 25 consecutive one-month spreads, as well as on spreads between the first and third nearby months, the first and fourth nearby months, and the second and fourth nearby months. In addition, there are options on six-month spreads between June - December, and December - June, which will continue to be listed for Crude Oil.
