| Notice No. 80 02/28/2005 |
| Launch of Version 3.0 (FIXML 4.4) of the NYMEX Cleared Trades API |
|---|
| The purpose of this notice is to confirm that the specification documentation for the latest version (version 3.0) of the NYMEX Cleared Trades application programming interface (API) is now available on the Exchange's Developer's Dashboard website (https://www.services.nymex.com/ddash/).
Like the previous versions, the new version allows Exchange clearing member firm employees and trading firm principals to view their Exchange trading, off-Exchange trading, and clearing activity via subscription and query messages. As background, this API provides trade and allocation information from the following sources:
Trades will be viewable from this API for five business days. If a trade is corrected during the five business days, that trade will reflect the most recent information with a new transaction date and time, which will show the corrected trade. There will continue to be a time delay in the messages for trades going through the Trade Management System (TMS). Trades that occur on NYMEX ACCESS®, NYMEX ClearPortsm Trading and GLOBEX® after the start of a new trading day (see start times below), but prior to TMS rolling to the new trading day will not be available for viewing on the API or GUI until TMS has rolled to the next day at approximately 3:00 AM on the day corresponding to the trade date. Starting Times:
Accordingly, the Exchange strongly encourages the firms currently using version 1.1 and version 2.0 to make the necessary code and configuration changes needed in order to migrate to version 3.0 before these versions are decommissioned. Clearing Members: If a trade is executed for a customer account that does not exist in Account (eRAV) Manager, only the clearing member will be able to view the trade on the API. To ensure that trading firm users will be able to view their trades on both the API and GUI, clearing firm account administrators must enter their customer accounts into the Account Manager presently used to enter accounts for NYMEX ClearPortsm Clearing and Trading. |
