Umicore AG & Co. KG
The Exchange has complied with regulatory requirements by filing with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission notification of approved amendments to Supplement No. 1, "Official List of Approved Refiners and Brands" of the Gold and Silver Futures Contracts, Supplement No. 2, "Official List of Approved Assayers and Assayer/Refiners" and Supplement No. 5, "Approved Brands Acceptable on the London Platinum and Palladium Market" of the Platinum and Palladium Futures Contracts to be implemented effective Friday, February 18, 2005.

OMG AG & Co. is an Approved Refiner for the Exchange’s Gold and Silver Futures Contracts and an Approved Assayer/Refiner for the Platinum and Palladium Futures Contracts. Umicore AG & Co. KG acquired the precious metals operations of OMG AG & Co and has renamed the companies as follows. With respect to the Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium Futures Contracts the approved amendments change the name of the producer or Assayer/Refiner of the respective metals from OMG AG & Co. to Umicore AG & Co. KG. Additionally, in the Gold Futures Contract, the name of the producer OMG Brasil Ltda is changed to Umicore Brasil Ltda.

The gold, silver, palladium and platinum brand insignia remain unchanged. With respect to the Assayer/Refiner classification for the Platinum and Palladium Futures Contracts, there are no assay certificates for platinum and palladium issued by OMG AG & Co in the Exchange Licensed Depositories. Umicore Brasil Ltda. continues to produce the DEGUSSA S.A. gold brand at its facility in Guarulhos, Brazil.

The approved amendments, shown here are effective Friday, February 18, 2005.
