| NYMEX miNY™ Migration Production Guideline For FIX Trading Firms |

| As noted in previous notices to members, access to NYMEX ClearPort® Trading (CPT) will be available later next month either through the front-end trading application that will continue to be provided by NYMEX or through a FIX connection involving a proprietary or third party provider front-end trading application. In addition to the other documentation requirements noted in Notice to Members 05-282, the Exchange is establishing processes and forms for the technical review and certification by Exchange staff both of the front-end trading application as well as of the particular connection(s) using such application to be established for a specific User applicant. Accordingly, the information provided below is a guideline for those firms that will be connecting to the New York Mercantile Exchange Order Network FIX interface to trade the NYMEX miNY energy contracts on CPT, which will be available on that system commencing on Sunday, November 20, 2005
Please register and certify with the Exchange as soon as possible if you have not all ready done so. The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX) requires the completion and submission of the "Automated Trading System (ATS) Registration Form" along with "Exhibit A: the "Automated Trading System Information Form" by any individual or entity that wishes to submit orders to any NYMEX Trading System via an Automated Trading System. This requirement is pursuant to the Exchange User License Agreement ("EULA") and notifies NYMEX that an authorized User or authorized User Agent intends to use an ATS to access a NYMEX Trading System service.
Confirm connectivity via Telnet to the NYMEX production FIX environment. Production Test:
a) Entering orders to QMF6, QGZ5 and QGF06 contracts. |
