Revisions to NYMEX ACCESS(r) Trading Hours and Execution for Four NYMEX Crude Oil Contracts (Mars, LLS, WTS, and WTI Midland Crude Oil Contracts)
With the introduction of the upgraded NYMEX ACCESS® system beginning on Monday evening, January 17, 2005 (for trade date Tuesday, January 18), the Exchange will revise the execution procedure for four of its crude oil contracts (Mars, LLS, WTS, and WTI Midland Crude Oil Contracts) to allow these contracts to trade as both outrights and as spreads against the NYMEX Division Light Sweet Crude Oil Contract in the overnight hours from 3:15 PM until 9:30 AM. During the daytime hours from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon, the four crude oil contracts will be available to trade on NYMEX ACCESS® as outrights only. Previously, these four crude oil contracts were listed to trade as a spread against the NYMEX Light Sweet Crude Oil Contract from 3:15 PM until 1:00 PM the next day.
