Revised Bus Schedule
In the event of a transit strike, buses will be at pick-up points (see attached listing) at 6:00am on Friday, December 16th, 2005 and will depart from the pickup points upon 100% occupancy or by 6:30am. The bus service provider is US Coachways. NYMEX buses will have signage in the front window "NYMEX Charter." Due to the heavy demand for buses, US Coachways may be using their affiliate’s buses (Executive.) Please look for the NYMEX Charter signs which will be displayed in the front window of each bus.

Buses will be available for boarding starting at 3:30pm at Murray Street between West Street and North End Avenue, departing by 4:30pm for the trip home.

Brooklyn: (4) buses
All buses will load @ 6:00am and depart upon 100% occupancy or 6:30am. All passengers should display NYMEX photo identification when boarding bus.
  • 2- buses @ Cropsey Avenue and Bay 25th Street, buses should follow the X-28 route along Cropsey Avenue to 14th Avenue to 86th Street. Continue on 86th Street, stopping @ 13th Ave & 7th Ave.
  • 1- bus @ 3rd Avenue and Shore Road, from 100th Street traveling on 3rd Avenue, stopping @ 86th Street, 75th Street & 69th Street.
  • 1-bus @ 60th Street & 3rd Avenue, traveling on 3rd Avenue, stopping at 45th Street, 35th Street, 25th Street and Hamilton Avenue.
Buses will drop off passengers at Murray Street between West Street and North End Ave.
Afternoon pickup for rides home will be at Murray Street between West Street and North End Avenue loading @3:30pm, departing by 4:30pm.
 
Bronx: (3) buses
All buses will load @ 6:00am and depart upon 100% occupancy or 6:30am. All passengers should display NYMEX photo identification when boarding bus.
  • 2- buses @ Co-op City Blvd & Bartow Avenue.
  • 1-bus @ East 161 Street & Jerome Avenue.
Buses will drop off passengers at Murray Street between West Street and North End Ave.
Afternoon pickup for rides home will be at Murray Street between West Street and North End Avenue loading @3:30pm, departing by 4:30pm.
 
Manhattan: (6) buses
All buses will load @ 6:00am and depart upon 100% occupancy or 6:30am. All passengers should display NYMEX photo identification when boarding bus.
  • 1-bus @ 63 Street & Broadway.
  • 1-bus @ 2nd Avenue & 57th Street.
Buses will drop off passengers at Murray Street between West Street and North End Ave.
Afternoon pickup for rides home will be at Murray Street between West Street and North End Avenue loading @3:30pm, departing by 4:30pm.
 
Manhattan Shuttle: (4) buses - morning shuttle
  • 2- buses shuttling between 34th street & 7th Avenue to Vesey Street & North End Avenue from 6am – 10am.
  • 2- buses shuttling between 42nd Street & 7th Avenue to Vesey Street & North End Avenue from 6am – 10am.
 
Manhattan Shuttle: (4) buses – evening shuttle
  • 2:00pm - 6pm beginning @ Vesey Street & North End Avenue to 34th Street & 7th Avenue
  • 2:00pm – 6pm beginning @ Vesey Street & North End Avenue to 42nd Street & 7th Avenue
 
Queens: (3) buses
All buses will load @ 6:00am and depart upon 100% occupancy or 6:30am. All passengers should display NYMEX photo identification when boarding bus.
  • 2- buses @ Astoria Blvd & 31st Street
  • 1- bus @ Elmont Road and Hempstead Turnpike
Buses will drop off passengers at Murray Street between West Street and North End Ave.
Afternoon pickup for rides home will be at Murray Street between West Street and North End Avenue loading @3:30pm departing by 4:30pm.
 
Staten Island: (4) buses
All buses will load @ 6:00am and depart upon 100% occupancy or 6:30am. All passengers should display NYMEX photo identification when boarding bus.
  • 2- buses @ Father Capodonno Blvd, vicinity of Sands Lane (South Beach) "Park & Ride"
  • 2- buses @ Hylan Blvd & Richmond Avenue
Buses will drop off passengers at Murray Street between West Street and North End Ave. Afternoon pickup for rides home will be at Murray Street between West Street and North End Avenue loading @3:30pm departing by 4:30pm.

Should the transit strike continue, bus pick-up and drop-off locations will be modified to meet demands.
