| Floor Observation by Compliance Department Staff |

| Please be advised that Compliance Department Staff are now observing trading from inside of the COMEX trading pits. This practice has been adopted to more fully comply with the CFTC Core Principle #3, Monitoring of Trading, which requires the Exchange to insure orderly trading of each contract and maintain an orderly marketplace. Floor observations performed from inside the trading rings provide Staff with the best vantage point to observe trading and to fulfill its obligations to the Commission. The COMEX Governors Committee has requested that the floor community be advised of this practice. |
