NYMEX ClearPort(sm) TMS Production Launch on May 9, 2005
On Monday, May 9, 2005 NYMEX ClearPortsm Trade Management System (NYMEX ClearPortsmTMS) will become the system for Production trade entry and trade management for the following products only:
  • PL & PO - Platinum (futures & options),
  • PA - Palladium and
  • PN - Propane
On May 9 the following icons will be available on each PC on the NYMEX Trading Floor:
  1. Existing TMS icon on the top left.
  2. CP TMS PL, PO, PA & PN icon (for active business) underneath the Classic TMS icon on the left.
  3. CP TMS View Only icon (for all commodities) on the far right.
Business for all other commodities will continue to be conducted on existing TMS. A future notice will be released to remind you of the next phase of the NYMEX ClearPortsm TMS launch in the Natural Gas ring.

As a reminder, all Brokers and their clerks must register in order to obtain a user name and password for the new system.

For registration assistance, or for any other questions or concerns:
  • Brokers should contact Floor Operations at the Trades Corrections Area
  • Clerks should contact the Training & Development to obtain mandatory training and to complete a Broker Clerk Registration form.
