Listing Schedule Change for NYMEX Natural Gas Futures (NG), Henry Hub Swap (NN), Henry Hub Penultimate Swap (NP), Natural Gas Options (ON), and European Natural Gas Options (LN) Contracts
The Executive Committee of the Exchange has voted to amend the listing schedule for the Exchange's core Henry Hub products. The change is effective immediately and would apply to the Natural Gas Futures (NG), Henry Hub Swap (NN), Henry Hub Penultimate Swap (NP), Natural Gas Options (ON), and European Natural Gas Options (LN) contracts. The new schedule does not apply to any basis, index or swing contract. Prior to this change, the Exchange added months on a rolling basis each month, except in the case of long dated Natural Gas Options (ON) which were added quarterly. Going forward, twelve (12) new contract months will be listed for each of the aforementioned contracts on the day following the termination of the nearby December contract month. The newly listed contracts will include each month, beginning with January, of the sixth nearby calendar year and will be available at the open of the business day following the termination of the nearby December contracts. For example, when the December 2005 contract terminates on November 28, 2005, all months for calendar year 2011 will be listed for trade date November 29, 2005.
