| Through Agreement with Tokyo Commodity Exchange New York Mercantile Exchange to Start Offering Trading in Japan |

| The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., and the Tokyo Commodity Exchange announced today that energy and metals futures contracts will become available for NYMEX ACCESS®, internet-based trading in Japan on July 20.
Products available will include crude oil, heating oil, natural gas, gasoline, gold, silver, copper, aluminum, platinum, and palladium futures via the NYMEX ACCESS® electronic trading system. Energy products will be available from 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 P.M. on Mondays and 4:15 A.M. to 10:30 P.M. on Tuesdays through Fridays, Tokyo time. Gold, silver, copper, platinum, and palladium futures will trade from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Mondays and 3:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Tuesdays through Fridays; and aluminum futures from 8:00 A.M. to 8:40 P.M. on Mondays and 4:15 P.M. to 8:40 P.M. on Tuesdays through Fridays. *All trading hours are converted based on US summer time. |
