Exchange Announces Listing Additional Months for the NYMEX NYISO and the Dow Jones Electricity Futures Contracts
The Exchange announced today that it will add months and change the procedure for listing additional months on the three NYISO (Zone A, Zone G and Zone J), and the four Dow Jones (Mid-Columbia, NP-15, SP-15 and Palo Verde) financially-settled electricity futures contracts. With these changes the same schedule be used for all financial electricity contracts.

For the NYISO Zone A, Zone G and Zone J contracts thirty six months are currently listed, and a new month is added at the termination of each month. For these NYISO contracts, the Exchange will list the additional months of July 2007 through December 2007, and add the months for an additional year when the last month of the current year expires. For example, following expiration of the December 2004 contracts, the months for calendar year 2008 will be listed.

For the Dow Jones Mid-Columbia, NP-15, SP-15 and Palo Verde contracts the remaining months in the current and the next two full years are listed. For these Dow Jones contracts the Exchange will list the months for 2007. The procedure for adding an additional year when the current year expires will remain the same. For example, following expiration of the December 2004 contracts, the months for calendar year 2008 will be listed.

All these additional contracts will be listed starting Sunday evening, July 11, 2004 for NYMEX Trade Date July 12, 2004.
