Listing Long Dated Options in Gold and Silver
On May 26, 2004, the Exchange began the listing of gold and silver options contracts out 60 months in the June/December cycle for gold options and the July/December cycle for silver options. Future listings of these option months will occur on the day following the listing of the corresponding futures contract. All other COMEX option months are currently listed on the day following option expirations. These options will continue to be listed in this manner. The only change to COMEX option listing procedures pertains to the June/December cycle in gold options and the July/December cycle in silver options. Please see below for long dated options listed through JANUARY 3, 2006.
