| Approved Amendments COMEX Rule 16.02, "Trading Months of Silver Futures Options" and COMEX Rule 15.02, "Trading Months of Gold Futures Options" |

| The Exchange has complied with regulatory requirements by filing with the Commodity
Futures Trading Commission notification of approved amendments to COMEX Rule 16.02,
“Trading Months of Silver Futures Options” which extends trading in
silver options out to sixty months from the current calendar month on a July /
December cycle and permits the NYMEX Board by resolution to add additional months
that are not currently listed and COMEX Rule 15.02, “Trading Months of Gold
Futures Options” which extends trading in gold options out to sixty months
from the current calendar month on a June / December cycle.
On May 26, 2004 the following option contract months will be added. Gold Options: June 2006; December 2006; June 2007; December 2007; June 2008; and December 2008. Silver Options: July 2006; December 2006; July 2007; December 2007; July 2008; and December 2008. The approved amendments to COMEX Rule 16.02, “Trading Months of Silver
Futures Options” and COMEX Rule 15.02, “Trading Months of Gold Futures
Options”, are effective May 26, 2004 and can be found here. |
