Expansion of Trading Months for Calendar Spread Options
Please be advised that beginning Friday, May 7, 2004 the Exchange will list an additional expiration month on its Crude Oil Calendar Spread Option Contracts. Beginning that day, there will be an option on the February 2005/February 2006 inter-month spread. Currently, the Exchange lists options on 12 month spreads for March, June, September, and December. In addition, the Exchange currently lists Calendar Spread Options on 25 consecutive one-month spreads, as well as on spreads between the first and third nearby months, the first and fourth nearby months, and the second and fourth nearby months. In addition, there are options on six-month spreads between June – December, and December – June, which will continue to be listed for Crude Oil.
