Expansion of Trading Months for Crude Oil Calendar Spread Options
Please be advised that beginning Tuesday, January 13, 2004, the Exchange will list additional expiration months on its Crude Oil Calendar Spread Option Contracts. Beginning that day, there will be 5 additional twelve-month spread options on a June/December cycle. This will include a June 2005/June 2006, December 2006/December 2007, December 2007/December 2008, December 2008/December 2009, and December 2009/December 2010 options. Currently, there are 24 consecutive options on one-month spreads. The Options on Spreads between the first and third nearby months, the first and fourth nearby months, and the second and fourth nearby months, as well as the June 2004/December 2004, December 2004/June 2005, March 2004/March 2005, June 2004/June 2005, September 2004/September 2005, December 2004/December 2005, and December 2005/December 2006 contracts will continue to be listed.
