NYMEX ClearPort(sm) TMS Required Broker Registration
All NYMEX Floor Brokers are required to begin registering now for NYMEX ClearPortsm TMS, a new and enhanced version of the current Trade Management System (TMS), which will be rolled out very shortly.

Specifically, all Floor Brokers will be required to register for NYMEX ClearPortsm TMS in order to receive a user name (login ID) and password and will also be required to list all screen clerks that work for them. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER FOR NYMEX ClearPortsm TMS, YOUR TRADES WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AFTER THE LAUNCH OF NYMEX ClearPortsm TMS.

As a convenience to Members, Floor Brokers can register either by:
  • completing the attached registration form and submitting it to the Help Desk on the trading floor; or
  • completing an online NYMEX ClearPortsm TMS Member Registration Form located on the training website:
https://www.marketing.services.nymex.com/tms/Login.aspx

Brokers will receive a user name (login ID) and a temporary password for the training environment. Production passwords will be issued before launch (SEE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REGISTER).

The enhancements to be included in NYMEX ClearPortsm TMS will include the following:
  • The new internet-based version will provide the ability to check P&L, trades and view reports from home.
  • Trade corrections process will be streamlined to provide users with the ability to manage trade corrections from home on the Internet.
  • The new version will allow Broker Clerks to disable Brokers and Traders from the system during their sick days and vacation periods.
  • System enhancements can be rolled out more expeditiously.
