Expansion of Trading Months for Crude Oil Calendar Spread Options
Please be advised that beginning Friday, January 9, 2004, the Exchange will list an additional expiration month on its Crude Oil Calendar Spread Option Contracts. Beginning that day, there will be an option listed on the spread between the second nearby December futures contract and the third nearby December futures contract. Under current listings, this will involve an option on the spread between the December 2005 and December 2006 Crude Oil contracts. This will be in addition to the current listings of 24 consecutive options on one-month spreads. The Options on Spreads between the first and third nearby months, the first and fourth nearby months, and the second and fourth nearby months, as well as the spreads between first nearby June - first nearby December, first nearby December - first nearby June, and the first nearby March - second nearby March, the first nearby June - second nearby June, the first nearby September - second nearby September, first nearby December - second nearby December contracts will continue to be listed for Crude Oil Calendar Spread Options.
