Trading Hours:
Trading on NYMEX ACCESS® will take place from 3:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. the next day. Trading will not be available during the 45 minute period after the NYMEX regular trading hours.
Listed Months:
The crude oil grades will be listed for 12 consecutive months.
Termination of Trading:
The crude oil grades will expire on the same schedule as the NYMEX Division Light Sweet Crude Oil Contract. Termination day is the third business day prior to the 25th calendar day of the month preceding the delivery month.
Tradeable Unit:
The grades will be quoted as a differential to the NYMEX Division Light Sweet Crude Oil Contract with size of 1,000 barrels per contract.
Trading Symbols:
MB for Mars Blend
LS for LLS
TS for WTS
CM for WTI Midland
Settlement Type:
Physical delivery. The Mars Blend crude oil grade will be delivered out of the LOOP facility in Louisiana. The LLS crude oil grade will be delivered into the Capline at St. James, Louisiana. The WTS and WTI Midland crude oil grades will be delivered at the TEPPCO terminal in Midland, Texas.
Position Limits:
The Spot Month position limit is 1,000 contracts. The All Month/Any One Month position limit is 10,000 contracts.
EFP Trading:
EFP trading for each of the crude oil grades will be allowed on the crude oil grade outrights via the NYMEX Clearportsm Clearing platform through clearing members firms, registered brokers, or through the NYMEX Facilitation Desk at 1-800-438-8616.
