The attached approved amendments to Supplement No. 1, "Official List of Approved Brands and Markings" of the Aluminum Futures Contract are effective Monday, December 22, 2003.

| RUSAL – Russian Primary Aluminum Producer Brands |

| The Exchange has complied with regulatory requirements by filing with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission notification of approved amendments to Supplement No. 1, "Official List of Approved Brands and Markings" of the Aluminum Futures Contract. The approved amendments formalize the name of the producer and change the brand insignia incised on the aluminum T-bars produced by Bratsk Aluminum Smelter from ID to RUSAL B; the Krasnoyarsk Aluminum Smelter brand from KPA3 to RUSAL K; the Novokuznetsk Aluminum Smelter brand from HKA3 to RUSAL N and the Sayanogorsk Aluminum Smelter brand from CAAP-3 to RUSAL S. The former brands produced by these smelters will continue to remain acceptable for delivery against the Aluminum Futures Contract. The attached approved amendments to Supplement No. 1, "Official List of Approved Brands and Markings" of the Aluminum Futures Contract are effective Monday, December 22, 2003. |
