Primary Aluminum T-Bars
The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. has established a policy, effective Monday, July 7, 2003 that primary aluminum T-bars with visible fissures or cracks that have been sealed by welding, hammering or other mechanical means shall not be placed on warrant and made deliverable against the Exchange’s Aluminum Futures Contract. Furthermore, any aluminum T-bars, which have sealed fissures or cracks cannot be placed back onto warrant once the original warrant is cancelled.
