Implementation of COMEX/Clearing 21 (C21) with OLTE Input
Please be advised that COMEX/C21 will be implemented based on the trade date, May 16, 2003. At the time of the implementation, the reaveraging functionality currently in place will not be available for average priced trades. Therefore, beginning on May 16, 2003, any trades that were average priced on May 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th will not be eligible for reaveraging. Until further notice, top day average priced trades starting with trade date, May 16, 2003, and thereafter will not be able to be reaveraged. In the event it becomes necessary, a manual calculation must be performed by the effected Clearing Member(s) to determine the dollar amounts of adjustment checks that will need to be generated to compensate for the processing that will not occur within OLTE. Please be advised that exchange staff is currently reviewing the reinstallation of this functionality and anticipates that it will be available shortly.
