Enhancement to the CM Download Site
As part of the ongoing mission to provide better service to its Members and Member Firms, the Exchange is enhancing the process by which Clearing Members may download clearing data from the Exchange over the internet. This new log-in process will be available for next Monday's trade date (April 28, 2003).

The principal benefit to Clearing Members will be integrating the log-in process and related security for the clearing download with that of the Exchange's "enterprise security" system used for the Exchange's various ClearPort(sm) services. This will give Clearing Members greater control by allowing the Clearing Member to establish different user employee at that Clearing Member to have individual user ids and passwords and access to particular services and functions (rather than having all access be set only on an unrestricted basis and only at the firm level).

Consequently, in rolling out this new process, by Monday, April 28, 2003, if not sooner, Clearing Members should request a login id and password for each applicable individual user at the firm by contacting the NYMEX Customer Support Center ("NCSC") at (800) 438-8616.

The common user ids and passwords for Clearing Members can no longer be used after April 27, 2003. Users of the site are requested to switch to individual user ids by this date.

All data and reports now available will also be available using the new process. In addition, the following new reports will also be available for download with this enhancement:
  1. EFP Trade Report
  2. EFS Trade Report
Other enhancements for Clearing Members include:

  • One step download process for downloading all reports. The current two step process of generation of all reports and then download of all reports is being converted to a single step of generation and download.
  • New login page.
  • The ability of Clearing Members to change their passwords directly as compared with needing to work through the NCSC.
  • There will be a few other changes implemented in connection with the shift of COMEX clearing operations to Clearing 21®. Members will be notified in advance about these changes in a subsequent notice.
