Reminder of Floor Committee Policy on Clerk Access to Trading Rings
The Floor Committee is issuing this reminder on established floor policy that allows clerks access to enter trading rings for the limited purpose of collecting or delivering market information such as orders or trading cards to Floor Members, but also requires the clerks to leave the ring immediately after their task is accomplished. Under no circumstances may a clerk either loiter in a trading ring or ask for a market quote or solicit other market information while inside the ring. Any clerk violating this policy will face disciplinary sanctions, including summary fines, from the Floor Committee.
