New Incentive Program for Four Crude Oil Grades on NYMEX ACCESS®
Effective Monday, April 14, the Exchange will offer an incentive program to encourage liquidity in the four new crude oil grades listed on NYMEX ACCESS®. The four crude oil grades are Mars Blend, Light Louisiana Sweet (LLS), West Texas Sour (WTS), and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) in Midland. The incentive program will continue through December 31, 2003 and will include the following: 1. Waive exchange clearing and surcharge fees for crude oil grades transactions on NYMEX ACCESS®. 2. Pay market-makers $1.00 per contract for posting bids or offers that get lifted.
