Exchange Announces Schedule for Listing New Months for Monthly PJM Electricity Futures Contracts
The Exchange announced today the schedule for listing new months for the PJM financially-settled monthly contract.

NYMEX will list 16 to 18 months at any given time:
  • When the last month of one calendar quarter expires, a new calendar quarter set of months is then added for trading.
  • The initial months listed will be June 2003 through September 2004.
    When June 2003 contract terminates, NYMEX would add THREE months. The contracts will be added on a quarterly basis so that the Summer (N & Q), Winter (F & G) and fourth quarter months (V, X & Z) all are listed at the same time.

    With future expirations, the additions would be as follows:

    M V, X, & Z
    U F, G, & H
    Z J, K, & M
