Metalor Technologies USA Corp — Silver Brand and Gold Brand
The Exchange has complied with regulatory requirements by filing with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC") notification of an approved amendment to Supplement No. 1, "Official List of Approved Refiners and Brands" of the Silver Futures Contract and Supplement No. 1 "Official List of Approved Refiners and Brands" of the Gold Futures Contract. The approved amendments change the name of the producer of both of the silver and gold brands from Metalor USA Refining Corp., an Approved Refiner for the Exchange’s Gold and Silver Futures Contract, to Metalor Technologies USA Corp. and the brand insignia or hallmark, incised on the gold and silver bars from METAUX PRECIEUX SA METALOR MP (with "MUS" assay mark) to METALOR® (with the "MUS" assay mark). The METAUX PRECIEUX SA METALOR MP (with "MUS" assay mark) brand will be marked with as asterisk (*) to indicate that it is no longer produced. However, this brand will continue to remain eligible for delivery. The attached approved amendments to Supplement No. 1, "Official List of Approved Refiners and Brands" of the Silver Futures Contract and Supplement No. 1, "Official List of Approved Refiners and Brands" of the Gold Futures Contract are effective Monday, November 24, 2003.
