| Migration of Customer Accounts Set Up on NYMEX ACCESS(r) |
|---|
| In connection with the "migration" of contracts listed on NYMEX ACCESS®to
NYMEX ClearPortsm Trading (CPT), this notice concerns the migration of accounts
to the new platform. Currently, Clearing Members manage risks for permissioned accounts by using the NYMEX ACCESS® "RAV" credit filter. However, a separate filter, the Enterprise Account Manager, is used for account activity on CPT and on NYMEX ClearPortsm Clearing. Thus, accounts that are set up for NYMEX ACCESS® must be added into the Enterprise Account Manager database before they can be traded on CPT. To ease the burden on Clearing Members, the Exchange will migrate all account information (for accounts set up for NYMEX ACCESS® and not already in Enterprise Account Manager) into Enterprise Account Manager, including the financial risk limit and applicable position limits. In addition to providing advance notice of this migration, the Exchange also is strongly encouraging all Clearing Members to register for CPT at http://www.nymex.com/markets/ees_regist_process.aspx. By registering as a User for CPT, a Clearing Member's authorized administrators thus also will automatically be registered as a Clearing Member Account Administrator for purposes of the Enterprise Account Manager. Additional details will be forthcoming shortly.
