Lanham River Terminal Warehouse Rate Change
Lanham River Terminals, LLC, a New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. ("Exchange") Licensed Warehouse for aluminum deliverable against the Exchange's Aluminum Futures Contract, has submitted to the Exchange the following charges for the handling and storage of aluminum at its facilities in Maceo, Kentucky. These charges will become effective on January 1, 2003 and completely replace the previously published rates (Notice to Members No: 02-331 dated December 3, 2002) from Lanham River Terminals, LLC and are the maximum amount of fees that will be charged. Lanham River Terminals, LLC Effective: January 1, 2003 Handling Inbound per Short Ton:        Barge: $5.00      Rail: $6.00 Truck (Van or Flatbed): $4.00 Handling Outbound per Short Ton:        Barge: $7.50      Rail: $7.50      Truck: $7.50 Weighing Charge per Short Ton: $4.00 Storage Charge per Short Ton per Month (Includes Insurance): $3.00 Preparation of Warehouse Receipt (Included in Weighing): $0.00 Replacement of Warehouse Receipt: $25.00 Issuance of Bill of Lading (Included in Outbound Fees): $0.00 Truck Loading Charge per Short Ton (Included with Outbound Fees): $0.00 Rail Car Loading Charge per Short Ton (Included with Outbound Fees): $0.00 Labor Rate per Hour: $30.00 Weigh and Calculate Sow Aspect Ratio per Short Ton: $4.50 The Street Invoices prepared by the Exchange's Clearing Department, based on the information provided by the Clearing Member, should not call for the reimbursement of the handling out charges for aluminum at any of the Exchange Licensed Warehouses for aluminum. The handling out charges have not been prepaid to the warehouse by the seller. The handling out charges are payable directly to the warehouse by the market participant at the time the aluminum is removed from the warehouse facility.
