Venue Codes used for new 32 Energy Contracts Launched 11/15/02 for Trading and/or Clearing by Exchange.
Please be advised that the below listed new 32 Energy Products may be transacted on one of two NYMEX venues. The following venue codes would indicate whether the transaction was traded and/or cleared by the Exchange. If the venue value equals "ACCS1", it indicates that this was a trade executed at the Exchange on the NYMEX Access system as well as being a trade that was cleared by NYMEX. If the venue value equals "OTC", it indicates that this was a trade executed in the OTC market and was accepted by NYMEX and converted to a standardized, CFTC regulated futures contract for clearing services only by the Exchange. In this case, these 32 products are additional offerings to the original 25 products previously offered by the Exchange for clearing and risk management services. Please also note that the name for the PB contract has changed from PG&E Malin Basis Swap to "Malin".
