Clearing Member FTP Downloads
In early March, the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. ("NYMEX") released into BETA testing a web-based FTP application enabling the electronic delivery Clearing Member trade, report and span files.

Commencing on Monday, April 1, 2002, Clearing Members will have the ability to request a login id and password by contacting the NYMEX Customer Support Center ("NCSC") at (800) 438-8616.

This system will ultimately replace the Monarch reporting system as the online platform for receiving trade and reporting data. NYMEX currently plans to support the Monarch system parallel to the FTP system through the month of May 2002, thereafter support will be terminated.

Through the new FTP system Clearing Members will be able to:

1. Download reports and trade data into text files that can be imported into spreadsheets, back-office systems or printed.

2. Access 5 business days of their trade data and various reports for both NYMEX and COMEX Divisions.

This technology is responsive to the requests of NYMEX Clearing Members in an effort to make services more efficient for the NYMEX Clearing community.
