Delay in Listing Additional Months Beyond January 2004 for the New York Harbor Unleaded Gasoline Contract
The Exchange will delay the listing of additional months beginning with the January 2004 contract for the New York Harbor Unleaded Gasoline Contract, due to changes to Federal and State gasoline requirements starting in 2004. The Exchange is closely monitoring all developments related to gasoline regulatory requirements, and we are working with the oil industry to determine the appropriate gasoline specifications. When the regulatory issues are resolved, the Exchange will take steps to list additional months. The specifications for already-listed gasoline contracts through December 2003 will remain unchanged.
