The Exchange is working closely with UCS to establish additional licensed warehouse facilities in Utah for the storage of copper. Please refer to Notice to Members Number 01-416 dated December 4, 2001.

| Utah Commodity Storage, Inc. ("UCS") a New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. ("Exchange") Licensed Warehouse for the storage of copper with warehouse facilities in Clearfield, Utah has informed the Exchange that effective immediately these warehouse facilities can no longer accept copper. The warrants issued by UCS for copper stored in the Clearfield, Utah warehouse facilities remain acceptable for delivery against the COMEX Division Grade 1 Copper Futures Contract.
