Brent Final Settlement Procedure on October 16, 2001
On Tuesday, October 16, the NYMEX Division Brent Futures Contract for November will terminate. The Platts Brent Index, which is used to cash-settle the contract, will be based on cash market information collected during the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. (New York time) on October 16. The final settlement price for the November contract will be published by Platts based on cash market activity and price indications between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
