Input of Customer Account Numbers Related to Machine Orers Into OLTE

It has been determined that an exception to the requirement of inputting specific account numbers will be made exclusively related to machine-generated orders. If acceptable to the receiving clearing member, the executing floor entity may use a general account via a short code to effectively bundle the machine orders for purposes of allocation within OLTE. Certain requirements for the labeling of these accounts are required, and are detailed in the following hypothetical example:

A short code is set up for machine orders to clear at clearing member ABIFF International@:

Short Code	Account Number	Clearing Member	H/C	CTI




1	MBI	000	C	4

In this example, the account number designated begins with M for machine and is followed by the initials of the clearing member. This practical use of M for machine and the initials of the clearing firm are a prerequisite for the exception to the specific account number designation.
