Dear CME Globex Customers,

To prepare for the NYMEX Energy products launch on the CME Globex platform, CME will create the final launch day NYMEX Energy futures contracts this weekend. These contracts will use recycled ISIN codes, therefore, customers are required to purge their instrument databases for both the CME certification and production environments and re-populate using new Instrument Creation (MO (m-oh)) market data messages. Details and scheduling information are available below.

• The new MO market data messages for the CME certification and production environments will be published starting at 6:55 a.m. Central time (CT) Saturday, June 10 on the administrative channel (channel 2) of the CME Market Data Platform and via the CME Market Data API.
• The MO replay on channels 1 and 16 of the CME Market Data Platform will also disseminate the new MO messages after 6:55 a.m. CT.
• Any legacy systems that still rely on the ftp.cme.com files for their instrument databases will be able to download the updated files on Saturday after 6:55 a.m. CME strongly recommends all customer applications rely directly on the MO messages for the most complete and up-to-date instrument information.

Customers participating in the mock trading session on Saturday, June 10 must complete the instrument database refresh before the 9:00 a.m. CT session start. All other customers must complete the instrument database refresh before the start of trading on Sunday, June 11.

Please note: Settlement prices for all products, including the NYMEX Energy products, will be disseminated via the MO and M7 market data messages effective Saturday 6:55 CT.
