Effective Sunday, May 7, 2006 (for trade date Monday, May 8), CME is scheduled to launch CME Israeli Shekel futures and options on futures on the CME Globex platform.

CME Israeli Shekel futures and options are designed to provide risk management tools for the Israeli shekel, and broaden the global range of products available in the CME Foreign Exchange marketplace.

The CME Israeli Shekel will be available for testing in the CME certification environment this Monday, April 24.
