Dear CME Globex Customers,

Effective Sunday, February 26, 2006 (for trade date February 27), CME is launching CME Snowfall futures contracts on the CME Globex electronic trading platform.

CME Snowfall futures, available only on the CME Globex platform, are based on the CME Snowfall Index. The Index is based on the Earth Satellite Corporation (EarthSat) measurements of the total snowfall at a particular location per calendar month. Initially, CME Snowfall futures will be offered on Boston and New York. Options on CME Snowfall futures will be available for trading only on the trading floor.

CME Snowfall futures will be available for testing in the CME certification environment this Monday, February 13.
