Dear CME Globex Customers,

As previously announced, on this Sunday, January 29, 2006 (for trade date Monday, January 30) and February 5 (for trade date Monday, February 6), CME will phase in the removal of contra-party Trader IDs in FIX tag 337 from CME Globex execution messages. Instead, tag 337 will contain the generic value "TRADE".

There is no change to FIX tag 375, contra-party Subscriber ID. Tag 375 in CME Globex execution messages will continue to be disseminated with the contra-party clearing firm number.

Please note: this change only applies to CME Globex execution messages. The TREX clearing confirmation messages will continue to contain the contra-party Trader ID, truncated to three characters, starting in position 81 of the TREX main block.

This change to the CME Globex execution messages is currently available for testing in the CME certification environment.
